Alright ladies, it’s time to face the giants…er, the cosmetic drawer. For most of us, over time, that particular drawer becomes such a mess that it’s hard to even look in it. But we’re going to change all that.

For this week’s “Get Organized” we’re going to use a simple, inexpensive tool to get (and keep) you organized. I’m suggesting that you go out and purchase a drawer organizer. You can get a rubber one like this (below) as cheaply as $5.22 from Sears online.

Or you can go to The Container Store and purchase a bamboo organizer (and we all know my passion for bamboo) for as little as $7.99 (shown right).

As you go through and organize your cosmetics, I recommend purging anything old (you can find general age guidlines for different cosmetics online). And, of course, cleaning up anything that has gotten messy. You also might want to consider cleaning your various brushes and applicators.

I promise, tomorrow morning when you open that drawer, you’ll be glad you put a little work into it. =)
